... has allowed Cole to carefully craft and hone his songwriting skills over the decades.

Cole was born and raised in Southern California, where early on he was introduced to the blues. By the age of ten, a life long tenure of the blues gently influenced and worked its way into the heart, mind and soul of Cole's great love for music. When the musical invasion of the 1960's hit the shores of the US, Cole took up guitar like many in his generation. Performing steadily in bands since the age of 13... Cole never looked backed.

Cole has performed at many blues festivals, most notably WC Handy Blues Festival and the Monterey Blues Festival, has open shows for the likes of Charlie Musselwhite, Greg Allman, Coco Montoya, Alison Krauss, Jimmy Hall, Johnny Winter and the great John Lee Hooker just to name a few. He has competed twice in the prestigious International Blues Challenge as a solo artist and with his band on Beale St in Memphis, Tennessee. Cole continues to write, record and perform as a solo artist and as bandleader as well.
